Shopify Plus

Also called: Plus

Shopify Plus is the enterprise tier, with higher limits, more locations and staff, and control over parts of checkout the other plans cannot touch.

Priya Raghunathan

Same admin, same catalogue, bigger ceilings and a much bigger bill.

What it adds that a stockroom feels

  • Many more locations than the standard plans allow
  • More staff accounts, with finer permissions
  • Higher API limits, so big syncs finish faster
  • Wholesale and B2B built in, instead of running trade on draft orders

Everything else it adds is checkout, scripts and support.

The honest test

Count the things you are working around. If you are out of locations, out of staff seats, or running a real trade business on drafts, the plan is the constraint.

If your problem is that receiving takes two hours, Plus will not touch it. That is a process, and a cheaper app fixes it.

Where it goes wrong

Plus gets bought to fix a data problem. Nothing about the tier improves your stock accuracy, because the counts are wrong for reasons that happen at the delivery door.

The other one is the location limit arriving as a surprise mid-rollout. Check what your current plan allows before you sign for shop number six, not after, and check it again if you are opening in a new country with Shopify Markets.
